I ordered the Hainan Chicken Over Rice, which is a traditional dish from Hainan. As you can see in the attached photo, it has a rather simple appearance. The chicken is boiled and served cold alongside seasoned rice. It comes with a ginger-flavored dipping sauce that pairs well with the chicken. My main complaint is the single, meager stalk of broccoli that was included—come on, vegetables aren't that pricey! Another point of frustration is that cash is still the only accepted payment option.

This restaurant only accepts cash, which is inconvenient, especially since their prices aren't particularly low. Additionally, their hours are not very dinner-friendly; they close at 7 PM, with the last order taken around 6:40 PM. While it's understandable that the kitchen wants to finish up early, closing at a time when most diners are looking to eat isn’t the best strategy. Overall, there are too many limitations for what little you gain, as the food is just average.

The food is okay and the food quality is not really consistent. Service is not great neither!

Wow! Best Chinese food in the Richmond. Highly recommend the crispy spicy tofu and spicy wonton. The flavors are unbeatable. You have a take out regular now.
