Very nice wait staff. Friendly environment with a local feel. Food was good.

The service at this restaurant was exceptional, with delicious food to match! We were able to meet the Chef and express our gratitude for the fantastic dinner. We absolutely love this Italian restaurant in our neighborhood in San Francisco. Its location on Russian Hill makes it convenient for an Uber ride to and from the restaurant. The specials are always delicious!

We usually go to North Beach for Italian but had a show at SF Playhouse and wanted something a little closer. Serafina is truly a neighborhood gem by all accounts, in a lovely North Nob Hill location (seriously, a wonderful location). We mostly had the specials seafood pasta and fettuccine with meat sauce. Delicious! Dessert was chocolate cream puffs with dark chocolate sauce and an espresso ice cream dish fabulous. Wine recommendation was Italian, from Montepulciano great recommendation and not overpriced. We will be back always great to find an escape location with great food and atmosphere!

This place is great! A little out of the way and on top of one of the hillier parts of San Francisco, but this place is worth the trek!We ended up getting the Fettucini with Shrimp and the Risotto, with a lemon tart and tiramisu for dessert.I should've taken pictures, but I didn't let the food last that long. Everything was awesome here.Additionally, the owners ? , hosts ? , servers ? were super friendly and always seemed happy to converse.I will be coming back to try some other menu items; I do not think you can go wrong here.
