Rooster Rice - San Francisco

The chicken rice was very good, I ordered extra vegetables and got perfect crunchy cauliflower. BUT when I opened the bag back in my hotel I was so disapointed: no chili sauce! Only the brown (delicious) sauce in the box, nothing else ???? Be sure to check if everything is in the bag before leaving it was supposed to be served with 3 sauces?

Refused to serve me 15 minutes before closing and the front door was wide open. Very rude in the process. If you want to start closing early be prepared to pull stuff back out when a customer comes in during business hours.

A very good chicken rice. Good quality meat, amazing sauce and broth. I ordered a takeaway, it was very fast and the right size. It could have more sauce included tho

Finally got to try this place. Ordered thigh meat with steamed veggies. The broccoli was done perfectly with right amount of crunch and tenderness. Thigh meat was tender and the broth was delicious. I?m looking forward to going back again.

We discovered Rooster rice by accident while looking for what we thought was an impossible mission- healthy, quick, inexpensive and delicious lunch in SF?s financial district. For $15, we get a generous portion of tender white chicken on a bed of diced broccoli and cauliflower. Comes with great condiments.
