Rangoon Ruby Burmese Cuisine Sf

I am a frequent visitor of burma superstar and this place is a close 2. they do a great job and have amazing food!

This was our second visit in five weeks, and the food was outstanding. I used to think Thai was my favorite cuisine until I tried this place. The flavors of the dishes pair perfectly with the coconut rice. Each time we've dined here, the restaurant has been only about a third full, which has ensured excellent service. It’s a great choice for friends from the Bay Area, as well as for entertaining visitors from the West.

Party of 3-pair plus a guest. we could share all the articles. general wine list available. we had the garnels with walnuts, sesame chicken, mangosalat and chicken kabat. the chicken-chabat had a star and was more spicy than our group preferred - so they go for star elements only if they really like hot objects. service was quick and helpful; also with a good choice the noise level was very good. not cheap but good value and beautiful dishes served with style.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, and the staff provided excellent service. However, the food we tried was merely average.

Recently, my wife and I took an out-of-town guest to Rangoon Ruby for lunch. We received a warm welcome from both the manager and the wait staff. We ordered an appetizer, a seaweed salad, a chicken salad, and a shrimp dish, accompanied by wine and Thai tea. The presentation was delightful; our waiter mixed the salads at our table while explaining each ingredient. Everything was delicious, and they were very accommodating in providing us with boxes to take home the leftovers. Overall, it was an outstanding lunch. The prices are fair, considering the quality of the food and service, and it's not meant to be a bargain oriental restaurant. Highly recommended!
