Bidrage med feedbackI’ve lived in the city since 1975. This is definitely by far my favorite seafood restaurant. The food is real never frozen. For San Franciscans this is a landmark.
Have been coming here for decades. Neighborhood staple! Halibut parmesan is unique and always tasty. I had garlic butter snapper today and it was fresh and also well made and tasty. And you can't beat free wine while you wait!Dietary restrictions: Halibut parmesan can be made with rice flour!
Wonderful place, great food. They serve you completely wine while you wait in line for your table
A very busy, rather compact seafood restaurant in the Outer Richmond district of San Francisco (easily reachable by taking the #1 bus line to the end at Geary 33rd Ave. . One has to be prepared to wait outdoors, may be with a glass of wine in hand, for a table to free up. All the seafood dishes are very good, although they can be a bit on the oily side. The waitstaff is great and very attentive to the needs of the guests. The atmoshere of the place is marine rustic, and due to the tightness of the space, it can get a bit noisy. Our party of five visited in the evening of Father 's Day in the USA, a fact which may have added to the high-level of business in the restaurant.
What restaurant offers free wine while you wait for a table? The Pacific Cafe... which serves some of the finest seafood in San Francisco. Small and unassuming , a no frills restaurant that knows clam chowder and sour dough. My parmesan crusted halibut was delightful.
