Ladle Leaf - San Francisco

This is a fantastic spot for a healthy lunch. The salads are outstanding!

The best soup in the Financial District! They serve wonderful classics like Clam Chowder and Chicken Noodle, along with daily specials that are always a treat.

The restaurant offers some solid plant-based options that don’t feel too heavy. They can customize the grain bowls, making it easy to choose plant-based ingredients. This location of Ladle & Leaf is conveniently situated in the food court at the Metreon, just a couple of blocks from Powell Muni station and accessible via several public transportation bus lines.

I got a southwest type salad with corn and chicken and it was good. It came in a container where the bottom half was compost-able which is great. I'm surprised more places don't try to go more green. The salad was good and it was a super fast pickup. I'd definitely go there again.

Ladle Leaf are mostly about CYO freshly tossed salad. Their newest location is located inside One Market adjacent to Coast Poke Counter. The lights are not as bright because they're tucked away in a corner. Seating is plentiful and its share with other eatery. Service is fantastic especially with Viennetta. A tad higher than you would get at a non-chained eatery, but it's SF way of running a business. Open M-F only.
