La Mar Cebicheria Peruana

La Mar is undoubtedly the best spot to savor authentic Peruvian seafood. The servers were extremely attentive and checked on us frequently. The kitchen service is notably quick, so you can expect your appetizers to arrive shortly after placing your order. However, main dishes featuring the catch of the day do take a bit longer to prepare, and they are quite substantial. I recommend ordering these in advance while you indulge your guests with appetizers. This venue is also perfect for dinners with colleagues or large groups. I can't wait to return!

I considered giving this restaurant 4 stars because the lack of a view and the unremarkable atmosphere didn’t match the high prices on the menu. However, once our food arrived, it was evident that they could easily earn a 5-star rating. Our waitress was very patient in explaining the menu, and I found the service to be quite good. Overall, this place offers high-quality Peruvian cuisine.

We enjoyed the scallops and octopus, both served in a delicious sauce. The ceviche tasting was outstanding and tasted incredibly fresh. For dessert, we tried the chocolate cake, Tres Leches, and a passion fruit dessert, all of which were fantastic and sweet! We managed to secure a table outside with a wonderful view of the water. The service was excellent; the staff was very attentive. We also ordered lattes and cappuccinos, but it's worth noting that only cow's milk is available, with no alternative milk options.

Oh, my God. Here. If you weren't here, I suggest you're here now when you visit? Well, you know what I'm gonna say:p this place was incredible. For my mother's birthday, we decided to come here. She loves Peruvian food, tries new dishes and LOVES fish. Peruvian food has a lot of resemblance to Indian dishes and I think there were some nostalgia to our family. It was super pet friendly that if you have seen my reviews I love and we need to sit outside with the beautiful view of the bay and the bridge. The food was spectacular and the best part was the Tres Leches cake. The food was fresh, tasteful and perfect for us 4. Would 100 % go back and if I could go every week!!
