A suggestion for the kitchen: if someone orders it this way, serve it with the legs up and keep the body shell uncracked to preserve the “soup” inside. This way, you can also dip the crab meat into it for an elevated taste experience. The drawn butter is delightful too, just as with snow or king crab legs. The crab itself was steamed perfectly, with sweet, juicy meat that was simply delicious. Fog Harbor sources its crabs fresh every day from the California coast, delivered in ocean water-filled tanks until you place your order. You truly can’t get anything fresher than this! The sautéed vegetables were cooked just right—crisp with a delightful buttery flavor. A pinch of salt and pepper finished them off nicely. Thumbs up all around!

We went for dinner with my husband and our daughter, along with our two black Labradors. We were staying at the Hilton on the bayfront with our dogs, and this restaurant is just a short walk down the promenade. Originally from England and currently living in Phoenix, we were visiting San Diego and had the best seafood we've had since moving to America. The dry ice cocktails were spectacular and truly unique. Our dogs were treated to crab cupcakes and biscuits served on a bone-shaped slate from the dog menu. The service was outstanding, and we would definitely return for another visit. It was a delightful and memorable experience!

The service was fantastic, and the food was incredible! I highly recommend the battered rock shrimp and the grilled octopus as appetizers. The octopus was incredibly tender and flavorful; I finished every last bite. For the main course, the seafood trio was an excellent choice, with all three sauces complementing the seafood perfectly. I will definitely be returning!

This place is gorgeous! It is right by the ocean and when the lights and heat lamps were on, it becomes a perfect place for pictures. The steak was excellent! So soft and juicy. I liked grilled octopus because the sauce was very good.
