Escape From New York Pizza

Huge slices of delicious, New York style pizza in a great downtown location that also serves beer. You can order just an extra large slice or two or however many you can consume, which they can heat up for you to enjoy right there, or take entire pies to go. I really love the potato pizza, while friends love the Hawaiian. Can't go wrong if you like the toppings. The crust is acceptably thin (though I would prefer it thinner) and crispy--best eaten fresh.

Very nice workers who seemed to be pizza lovers enjoying there job. Not just your typical young stoner pizza boys . These were true PIZZA MEN. Pizzas looked very large!! I know I am talking about the workers and not the decore inside. Or how the pizza tasted with cheese. I didn 't even see any rude staff when I arrived and the lighting out front was cool. They did have a cool wheelchair ramp as well as a few steps that you can walk up. Basically you can choose eitherroute to enter. Also the menu was not very clear and I had to ask for help finding the menu, I believe it may be accessed from a phone so I couldn 't tell if the prices were reasonable. The pepperoni pizza seemed delicious. Nothing wasburnt and everything looked clean! : They have a great manager.

If you ask for something simple like getting a slice if pepperoni with black olives they can 't do it. They already have the pepperoni pizza ready and they have all the toppings next to the pizza but they cant put black olive on your slice. Lazy people employed here that don 't want their job and because of it the owner has just lost any hope of getting my money to pay his Lazy workers.

Amazing New York style pizza! Huge servings of pizza (we got XL super combo) and salad....most importantly the service is above and BEYOND! Definitely coming back.

It's like an authentic New York/east coast Pizzeria with real pizza by the slice service, but on the other side of the continent. Also it has cool staff, and good hours. Though they really should offer slices later. They only do full pies later at night. If you want to nosh on something quick late then this isn't really an option. It's still a great place though. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
