Bidrage med feedbackPlace was nice, we had a good time, we were entertained. Just look at the menu and choose your food quick, or it might be a little while before the server gets back to you as that place gets pretty busy. Once they get back to you, they make sure you’re good. Our server/bartender was really nice. I’m definitely going back. Between the delicious food, a mixed drink each, we played like half of the games, a nice tip to the server/bartender and a lot of credits to spare on a game card…. I probably spent $125 or so.
Fun place with decent food. Unfortunately one of the the staff behind the bar was incredibly rude. They did apologize for their behavior at the end, but overall it was a poor experience that made us not want to return.
Management needs to talk to faculty about acceptable levels of drinking behind the bar.I 'll start by addressing the positive aspects of the establishment: Awesome games. That 's about where the positive things end. I have no problem with an establishment that permits their bartender to drink behind the bar. Honestly I tend to find such establishments more fun and laid back. But when the bartenders get so plastered that they cannot even remember the order of their costumers that 's when I take issue. I get it- I was bartender in a nightclub for 7 year. It is busy, everyone is packed like sardines and their are a lot of faces to keep track of but maybe that 's why one shouldn 't get plastered behind the bar. I walked in and approached the nearest bar to order a drink, waited TWO full rotations and more than 20 minutes as the bartender helped other patrons. Keep in mind I saw the bartender put back a beer and a half during this short time. I was standing right infront of his speed rack too, so I know he saw me. After being passed in rotation a SECOND time I politely asked to be next and even expressed that I would tip well. I was told No! you just got here. I was honestly so taken back that all I could muster as a response was What?? we have been standing here. The bartender responded by telling me to calm down. I had yet to even have one sip of alcohol. I was as sober and as calm as I could be given the situation. I knew right then and there that the bartender was plastered. Slurring words and lacking situation awareness. Instead of apologizing about the wait or confusion the drunk bartender smugly commented you know there are other bars upstairs. Then he proceeded to give us the hardest time. Demanding to see everyone 's ID even my friends standing behind me completely uninvolved. We even had wrist bands on and showed him our wrist bands. He even took issue with the way I signed my receipt and demanded I sign again. I wont give a description of the guy because I have no desire to see anyone get in trouble. But management really needs to talk to the entire faculty about acceptable levels of drinking while behind the bar.
Came here to soak in the Christmas bar vibes, play some games, and enjoy drinks with friends. The place was a bit crowded, and the music was blasting. The speakers right next to our reserved table on the ground floor made conversation really hard. I had to track someone down on the ground floor bar to sort out our Yelp reservation, but we didn 't use the table much due to the loud speakers. The interior wasn 't as decked out as I expected; only the second-floor back part had Grinch-themed decor, and it was mostly occupied by reserved tables. There wasn 't that much holiday drinks either, or it wasn 't widely advertised, and I only saw that they had one.Ordering drinks took a while to get a bartender 's attention on the ground floor bar, but we did manage to score some alcoholic boba shots from the bartender who dressed like the Grinch. My boyfriend tried the holiday drink, which was a strong shot, and I 'm not sure if he enjoyed it. Our friend went for a Dark and Stormy, and found it just okay. I opted for the Yabba Dabba, which a fruity and light drink that still packed a punch. Highly recommend it for anyone into fruity drinks. My other friend and our designated driver asked for a mocktail, and they gave her a Yabba Dabba with Sprite, which turned out to be quite nice for about $7.The games were alright--some old school like Skeeball and some newer ones. However, some machines seemed a bit worn; the dancing one needed you to step pretty hard, and controls weren 't quite right for others. The games are decently priced, and if you sign up for their rewards or something, you get around $10 of free credits. Despite the quirks, it was a decent night out. It was not super great for a holiday bar, but I guess we didn 't have to pay to get in and we could spend some time playing games. If you come here, bring earplugs, and try to order from the second-floor bars.
Turnt me tf up for my birthday last year definitely a vibe?????
