Bidrage med feedbackJin Pot Shabu House is like a flavor carnival for your taste buds! The cozy atmosphere and artsy decor make it the Picasso of hot pot joints. The walls adorned with quirky quotes and snapshots set the mood, and the staff is super friendly and attentive to the guests. The sauces are like the superheroes of taste, especially the spicy garlic miso it's so good, it should have its own fan club. The Gyozas kick off the feast with a crispy high five, and the Premium Wagyu Kobe Beef is the VIP of proteins. My wife practically wrote a love letter to it.The Cilantro Wagyu dumplings are like a culinary tango in your mouth, especially when they dance with the broth. The veggie squad Broccoli, Spinach, Bok Choy, and Napa Cabbage adds a healthy touch, while the Fresh Tofu and Ramen are the unsung heroes of our final rounds. Despite the food coma looming on the horizon, they manage to surprise you with an ice cream little cup. The service is smoother than a jazz melody, the prices won't give your wallet a heart attack, and finding street parking is like discovering a unicorn in the wild. You know how Geary 19th Avenue can be. In a nutshell, this hot pot haven is the real deal a symphony of flavors, a cozy escape, and the perfect excuse to loosen your belt a notch or two. Don't miss out it's a culinary adventure waiting to happen!
Great service and plenty of food. I recommend making a reservation. Sometimes it can get pretty warm inside but that can be great if it's expected.
Absolutely me and my wife’s favorite Shabu spot in the bay for AYCE Shabu Shabu. We’ve been coming here since prepandemic and the server Teresa would always take care of us and offer friendly service. It’s easy to make a reservation through Yelp. The interior feels cozy and has stuff animals on the bench seating with pictures and details of the broths they offer on the right wall. The numerous broths they offer are all flavorful and unique which you can’t find at most shabu/hot pot places. Our personal favorites are:1) Szechuan spicy pickled cabbage which is peppery and sour with a bit of a kick.2) Sukiyaki broth which is savory and sweet that compliments and enhances the sweetness of the nicely marbled wagyu beef they offer. This is the broth we miss from Japan that this place satisfies our craving for.3) Spicy miso which is common amongst shabu restaurants but they add more miso in theirs which taste more flavorful and is actually spicy. We always order the wagyu beef which they slice thinly and the meat is well marbled so it melts in your mouth, our second favorite is the New Zealand lamb which always taste fresh and not gamey at all. Here are our favorites from the menu that’s included in the AYCE:Vegetable platter Can’t decide? It comes with a variety of their veggiesTsumire Bamboo Rolls minced wagyu beef w/ negi(green onion) or cornChicken Kara age nice and crispy to get the appetite going.Takoyaki fries comes with the sweet and slightly tangy Takoyaki sauce topped w/ bonito flakes.Cilantro Wagyu dumplings flavorful dumpling to go with their broth and not overpowered by cilantro.House sake check in and you get a bottle for 50 centsLastly they offer you a complimentary dessert at the end of your meal which is a bowl of vanilla ice cream with a brown sugar syrup and kinako powder and it is SO addictive and delicious.
The service is warm and very niceFood quality excellent+. The veggies are fresh fresh and proteins are piqueMake a reservation, they do get lots of parties on weekends so be patientIt’s my go-to for shabu and I live on the other side of town
Jin Pot is probably my new favorite hot pot restaurant in SF. The AYCE food AND drink was so worth it. For $54/person, you can get unlimited food and drinks. We got house spicy mala, spicy garlic miso, wagyu Kobe beef, and premium black angus. The wagyu Kobe beef was incredibly tender and juicy! Some of my favorite sides included the black garlic tsumire, house made shrimp paste, sponge tofu, quail eggs, and flour noodles. I wished they had tofu skin, fish ball with roe, and tripe since those are my favorite hot pot sides! Side note: I loved the sauce. Hot pot sauces are usually my determining factor in whether or not I really like a hot pot place. I loved the sauce here since I usually opt for ponzu based sauces. My friend really liked the house made sesame sauce! As for the drinks, the pineapple soju cocktail was sooo good and one of the best soju cocktails I've had since I don't like the soju to be too strong. We also got beer and sake for sake bombs that my friend seemed to really enjoy (I do not like sake LOL). I'd also recommend the fresh watermelon juice if you don't want cocktails. Both came in pitchers so we were pretty bloated by the end of our dinner. The restaurant itself is pretty small and was crowded when we came so I'd recommend making a reservation on yelp!
