Caliente Bistro Kitchen - San Francisc

We found this Mexican restaurant while we visited Golden Gate Park and walked to there following google map. Their complimentary chips are freshly cooked, we especially liked the pairing red sauce salsa. It's delicious. I liked the carne asada taco and al pastor taco. The carne asada is seasoned well and grilled tender. The al pastor taco is paired with mango and has a little bit of sweet taste. The portion is generous and the price is affordable. The owner is warm and friendly. It's a great restaurant worth trying.

This place is HIDDEN and on the one hand im glad, but in reality they deserve more attention.Its VERY GOOD Mexican food, a full notch above fast food. This place serves you AT YOUR TABLE and yet have prices more similar to order and sit down places ?Super friendly staff, easy parking.The Ceviche could actually serve 3. Its great, just needs lemon and salt.All portions are LARGE.

Huge portions for very reasonable price. Food was delicious. Such friendly service. Highly recommend!

We have seen this spot in passing and it caught our eye. It may not look like much from the outside but it's a hidden gem! The food is superb, we will be coming back to try more of there options.
