Carrillo's Tortilleria - San Fernando

What struck me first was the incredible taste of the fresh tortilla. It was softer and doughier than usual, without being chewy—such a delightful texture. The tamale was also impressive thanks to the flavorful corn dough; it was so good it didn't even need a filling. Next time I'm in the area, I’ll have to grab a dozen tamales to take home. As an added bonus for the non-Spanish speakers, the staff speaks more English than many other places around.
