We were staying in the hotel and didn't want to drive to ate here on our first night. The food was OK to pretty good. We had the grilled sea bass that was done Mediterranean style with mixed vegetables. We had one of the cheaper bottles of red wine, a Valpolicella, on the menu and in our experience it's hard to get a poor red in Italy but this one was borderline refrigerated and somewhat lacking in body Clientele are mixed as you get hotel residents and people arriving by boat, and this area caters for majority German visitors, which was the same in the restaurant. One of the waiters actually doubles as water-taxi operator ferrying people to/from their boats. Perhaps that why we weren't particularly well attended to. Nothing serious enough about to complain but overall it was just OK. Also if your eating in the evening bring an extra layer. The day was scorching but as the restaurant is on the water the breeze was a little chilly.
