The Rooftop By Stk - San Diego

This place was terrible. I waited for a burger for 45 minutes and had to send him back because I told them not to put a bacon because I am allergic and there was extra bacon on it. The waiter was terrible. It was also so cold that the heaters obviously didn't work. Nothing like the real STK. very disappointed

Nice stop to get drinks with a group of friends. Very cool spot. The food was pretty good and the drinks too. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to hang with friends and have a cool time.

The online menu does not fit the actual menu. Why? I was told as soon as the rest of our party came that they were no longer with Open Table (but I made a reservation on Open Table) and they are no longer part of the STK Steakhouse restaurant that is on the first floor. The roof STK is really a pool side / roof strip that offers a shortened menu. They order at the bar, get a number, they bring food to you. You want a refill? Go to the bar. Food is decent. We booked a brunch here, which was mainly based on the idea that it was a real roof restaurant before our show at San Diego Civic Theater. Great place for a drink, but certainly not going anywhere to actually eat a meal. Unless you're in the pool.

This restaurant is a great place to grab drinks with a group of friends. It has a relaxed atmosphere, and the food and drinks are both good. I would definitely recommend it if you're looking for a place to hang out with friends and have a chill time.

The rooftop STK offers an abbreviated food menu where you order at the bar, receive a number, and food is brought to you. If you want a refill, you must go back to the bar. The food is decent, but this is more of a poolside/rooftop bar than a restaurant. It is a great spot for drinks, but not the best choice for a full meal unless you plan on taking a swim. We booked brunch here thinking it was a rooftop restaurant, but it is better suited for drinks before a show at the San Diego Civic Theater.
