Bidrage med feedbackThe food was delicious I left so full, I got the ceviche de pescado, papa la huancaina anticuchos. Definitely recommend! And the staff is very friendly!!!
Got the lomo saltado while we waited for our sushi to be done (which took about 30 minutes). The food came out pretty quickly which was great! The yucca fritas were decent (we subbed those in place of regular fries) but the meat was sadly chewy and not as flavorful as our favorite Peruvian place. There also weren't as many veggies as we'd have liked. Overall, not bad but but amazing either.
Best seafood rice or arroz con mariscos. I tried the same plate before in different Peruvian restaurants, and they were always grease. Chicha morada was great, and the lomo saltado was good too. La salsa a la criolla needs a little more lemon. The owner was really friendly, and the wait for the food was not bad, but it was worth it. I came back and I tried tallarín saltado again it was delicious.
Okay I cannot say enough good things about this amazing little place, It is now in my *top *eight *favorite *restaurants in all of San Diego... Okay it took me awhile to try this place because there's so many other restaurants in this little plaza but let me tell you we ordered the saltado chicken it's a incredible portion comes with rice broiled tomatoes and amazing french fries... If you enjoy Peruvian food you must give this place business, They were actually very busy when we were there, we were there for over an hour sitting at the table dining right next to the restaurant this is one of the only places in the public market that has their own tables.. after we ate our meal we gave the cook a big tip and I truly cannot wait to go back there.
I bought both a savory and a sweet crepe and both were very good. The person who took my order as well as the person making the crepes was very friendly. You can watch them being made within the kiosk.
