Roxy’s Tacos - San Diego

While in San Diego for a family vacation, we wanted to get some authentic Mexican food. After looking at reviews, we saw Roxy’s was highly rated — and for good reason. The tacos were delicious (try the birria), as were the carne asada fries. The family that runs Roxy’s was great, too, and super helpful in recommending what to get. And the patio was kid (and dog) friendly. Worth the 20 minute walk from our hotel. We're glad we found Roxy’s.

Best Taco in the town! The price is fair, the food is awesome, the owner is super friendly. If you are visiting San Diego you don’t miss this place, it’s really worth a try!!!!

The best things about living in Southern CA are the weather and the Mexican food. With so many options nearby, Roxy's sets themselves apart with flavorful meats, great vibes, and excellent service!I was unable to decide between 5 options, so I settled on the rolled tacos and the asada quesadilla. They were both phenomenal. And then the green salsa on top...wheeewwww. I cant wait to come back and try to try the shrimp tacos and the birria quesataco (only available Fri and Sat fyi)
