Bidrage med feedbackOn new years eve, my man and I have booked at 18:45 dinner in petrinis in little italy. my man ordered one of the house specialties the huhn parmesan. I ordered the baked aubergine parmesan. eating was phenomenal! the waiter was attentive, even if the place was filled with people. I highly recommend eating in petrinis!
Great italian food at reasonable prices. We liked their antipasti platter, minestrone soup and variety of pastas.
We stopped for happy hour and had two glasses each of $5 house wine. The wine was good, and the reduced price appetizer sampler was outstanding. We also ordered eggplant parmesan for our main entre, and it was very good. Our service was quick and friendly. Will definitely come back next time we are in San Diego.
The atmosphere was very quaint and our waitress was amazing. She offered us tastings of various wines that we were not familiar with to help us make up our minds. Ended up with a great bottle of red. Food was just OK. Caesar salad was excellent. The veal Marsala I had was extremely sweet. It tasted like the chef added maple syrup to it. The flavor was fantastic. I would have loved it if it was not so sweet! When asked about it before I ordered it, the waitress did say a customer did comment, not complain, that it was sweet. My wife had the Cannelloni and the noodles had an overall mushy/overcooked consistency to them. All the ingredients were extremely blended. Every bite looked and tasted the same . Once again, not bad, but certainly what we were expecting from our first visit to Little Italy.
Friendly service, great food, convenient location, and reasonably priced!
