Old City Hall - San Diego

This restaurant is not for me. It has the biggest TV screen I've ever seen with football blazing through dinner. Not what I wanted or expected. The food was okay. The scallops entree is small and a bit salty. The watermelon salad was fantastic. But I don't go to gaslamp for football, so this was a disappointment.

Staff at Old City Hall were amazing. Hostess was very friendly, and allowed me to sit at our reserved table when I was the only one there from our party of 10. The majority of the group was very late for our reservation, but they (specifically our hostess) still accommodated us with smiles on their faces. I only had drinks, but I heard the food was good and prices were decent for a cool spot like this in Gaslamp.

The food was good, I had huevos rancheros and they were good. We had flowing mimosas for 15 dollars. The mimosas were okay, the good thing was that our waitress Mel just kept on coming back. She was really good waitress. I would be back!
