North Italia - San Diego

My boyfriend I came with a reservation for outdoor seating. We were seated right away, the hostess was super sweet. Outdoor seating was great! I was afraid I would be chilly, but I wasn’t. Our table was a two-seater that I found intimate somewhat romantic. Our server (I believe her name was Taylor) was quick, I loved that they light the candle only when there are guests there at the table. I ordered the calamari spaghetti with meatballs. My boyfriend ordered the spicy salami pizza. We both ordered some drinks. Everything came out within 10-15 minutes. Everything was super delicious! Unfortunately, a little bug flew into my drink. Understandable; I was outside. I ordered a new drink, but I was a bit worried I would be charged for two drinks. I did not want to ask, but they only charged us for the one drink. Super nice of them! My boyfriend I also work at a restaurant, one of our chefs recommended North Italia. We really wanted to try it, the service food exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a wonderful date night! 😁

Our server was the BEST, she was very eager to recommend us the best dishes and she was fast and very kind with everything she said through the night. Excellent service and excellent food.

It was just ok the food was so so the drinks were ok not impressed considering it had good reviews

The food was great and the service even better! I could eat the butternut soup everyday!!

Great food. Great service. Our server was awesome. Shrimp Scampi was good but not great, missing some flavor.
