I am lucky to live close to my favorite Mexican food restaurant, great service, the best around in my opinion, call in advance to order, always super busy, that comes with the territory.

I was a teenager the first time I went to this restaurant. Recently I asked my guy if he'd ever gone there. He's now a Wednesday regular (that's when they have Carnitas). He picked some up and brought them over for dinner tonight. They are indescribably delicious. I can't believe I never tried them before. He says there's no other place that makes them so good.

I have been enjoying this humble little spot for over 25 years. Fantastic carne asada, chicken enchiladas, tamales, and rolled tacos. The real kicker is their hot sauce, which is just hot enough, with complex flavors second to none!
