I had the best pizza in town and will truly miss the staff. Camille was exceptional! I hope she sees this and is doing well. I will really miss this place; it holds so many wonderful memories for me. I first came here back in 1999 when I lived on Hornblend Street. It’s sad to see it go. I wish everyone there the best as they move on to bigger and better opportunities!

Genuinely heartbroken this restaurant is closed. my boyfriend and i have been together for 10 years and have celebrated every anniversary here and even had prom dinner here. really hoping to find out this establishment is renovating/in the works to come back. if not, to the owners and food, we will miss you!!

I've been a regular at Marino's Pizza since the late '60s. My stepdad would often take me there on Monday nights to grab some pizza before watching Monday Night Football. As I grew older, I made a point of bringing friends and family to celebrate special occasions at this beloved spot. I still remember how much I enjoyed the piano player they used to have, the friendly wait staff, and the charming decor, especially the large painting and the romantic table for two by the door. The pizza was fantastic—my absolute favorite. The atmosphere was always lively and fun. I felt a wave of sadness when I learned it had closed down. It was a staple of Pacific Beach, and the area will never be the same without it. I want to extend my gratitude to the owners and staff for all the wonderful memories they've given me. You will be greatly missed.

The service was excellent, and the food arrived promptly. However, the menu offerings were quite ordinary and lacked any unique or exciting options. It seems to be the same menu that has been in place since the restaurant opened in the 1950s. The establishment was reportedly sold to new owners in October 2021, so there's hope that the selection may improve in the future.

I love Marino's pizza it's my all time favorite! Please tell me the rumors aren't true. Are they closing permanently or just for renovations?
