La Divina - San Diego

We celebrated our bachelor/ bachelorette party there this weekend and we were blown away by the attention and service that La Divina provided us with. We couldn't chosen a better place to celebrate. Thank you to the bartender, manager and everyone who works there. Our entire party had a blast and enjoyed the food and drinks very much!

We weren't able to enjoy our meal here due to the loud boxing match playing, which made it impossible to have a conversation. Additionally, the restaurant didn't inform us at the time of our reservation that there would be a $10 cover charge per person for dinner. We were extremely disappointed.

Fun atmosphere waitress was nice and attentive. Music was great.

"Our waitress, Kaylaya, never returned with our change. She left with over $100 after we had already given her an extra tip on top of our check. We even gave her $100 to charge for a 20% party fee, which she never added to the receipt and then did not come back. The service was terrible, and she knows what she did. I do not recommend her."

The worst experience ever! We got scammed! We ordered just basic tequila shots but was charge for “don Julio” and it cost $22 a shot. We had 13shots total in our group. So the total for just the shot was 286$. The fee and tax for a group of 8 people was $170. How crazy is that! They even overcharge on food we didn’t even order. An extra side of chips about (20chips) is $6.50. I like the restaurant and the food is good, but I would not come back. The way they take advantage by making money is ridiculous. We would have come back and they would gain more business from us. We had 10 people In our group and they just lost 10 customers. They even threaten to call the cop on us because one of our friend said he is not paying for the “Don Julio” shots. Is that how your resolve a conflict with your customers? This restaurant needs to do better.
