Karina’s Cantina - San Diego

I was told that I didn't show when I dived and was a few minutes early.

The place is beautiful we were really bummed out about the experience. For starters it took 20 minutes before the waitress even stopped by, another waitress finally noticed that we had been waiting for a while and went to get her. Next at one point she went on break and didn’t tell us. After we asked another waitress for help and our actual waitress finally came and said that she asked someone else to watch our table while she was out. (No one came though and she could have told us she was going on break . The food also came cold but we were so hungry we sucked it up. Over all I don’t see myself going back. It was an experience but never again. I’m sad that I took my friend from out of town here. She was really disappointed too. Oh well lesson learned.

Vibes where great staff was friendly and the tacos and drinks where the best

This place is really over hyped, I mean really! I didn’t enjoy much about it. The food is sub-par, I’ve had better at less “swanky” eateries. I think the decor wows people maybe. It’s super loud which some people like I guess. The vibe is energetic I would say. The whole experience overall…blah

Brought a client group for lunch while attending a convention. All of the clients loved the vibe and beauty of the restaurant and the food was definitely solid.
