Gyu Kaku San Diego, Ca

It has been a while since the pandemic that we can go back to Gyu KaKu. My reservation was at 8.30 pm, but was not seated until 8.45 pm. The food was good. Hope to have the dine-in soon.

Ready for these pandemic related restrictions to end but nevertheless the food was amazing and service was phenomenal. Can’t wait to go back without the restrictions.

Food here is off the charts good! Employees all super friendly and helpful. Our families favorite restaurant in San Diego.

Showed up for reservation and was seated right away. There was a lot of distance between tables so social distancing was amazing. My waiter was perfect. Came when I needed him but didn’t bother us too much, only when we needed him. I ordered the chefs special set. Everything was delicious, except for the broccoli and cheese and also the pork belly was super thin like I have never seen before, and I have been here many times and ordered the same thing. They don’t leave the bottles of sauces on the table anymore because of COVID, instead they put the sauces in little plastic containers which make it difficult to use, no big deal but they should use small dishes instead. Overall everything was great and I highly recommend coming here. You will feel comfortable by the atmosphere and the distance between tables, the value is great, and the food delicious.
