Bidrage med feedbackGot the Brisket Burger/Sandwich that is smoked in the house and it was fantastic. How can be, the grill sauce was not excessively sweet, as 90% of the generic sauces are, it was perfect. I got a side salad, because if I had pommes, I would have been in a dining room, the portions are huge! They were great so that the dog allowed inside, they even gave the pup a water cup. The amazing customer service and the beautiful venue hold me back here for a long time. Plan to wait for a little bit, even with a reservation, it is a busy place on weekends.
Food and service was both equally amazing. As for prices, you definitely get more than expected with the breakfast items, the rest of the menu is fairly priced but on the pricey end of things. My kids ordered the French toast logs, and silver dollar pancakes (adult serving). Both said their food was fluffy through out all of it, and my youngest said they were the best pancakes he ever had. I ordered the salmon board. Not only did the salmon melt in my mouth but what they put on it to caramelize (I think it was brown sugar) enhanced the flavors so much. We also ordered the portobello fries. My boys don't like mushrooms but loved these. I love mushrooms and thought these were amazing and will try to make them myself. I also ordered the key lime pie and it was the perfect blend of sweet and tasty and had the consistency of cheesecake (which is how prefer it). Our server was Claire, and she was very kind, accommodating (we were a party of 10, with lots of kids), and professional. She entertained the kids, got all of our orders down flawlessly, and kept us very informed on the status of our food as well as just checking to see if we needed anything else. Highly recommend this establishment.
Yummy food with a beautiful presentation. I really enjoyed brunch with my coworkers. We sat outside in our own 'cubical style ' table that faced the road. Service was good and the food was delicious.
Friend made a reservation to dine here. Pretty decent brunch spot. The presentation is definitely there, but I thought the taste was just okay. My friend and I ordered the iced and hot latte, which was pretty good. Although, they didn't have a sugar tray but instead I got 1 packet of brown sugar and 2 regular sugar packets. The blueberry silver dollar pancakes were delicious. This is my favorite dish here so far. Then we got the the beef brisket hash and the beef brisket popover, which we realized after it came out are essentially the same dish, but the difference is that the hash has a toasted bread and the popover has, well, a popover and some asparagus (the popover is the muffin looking dough . The texture of the brisket was good. Not too soft but not crunchy. The potatoes were very buttery and deliciously soft. However, something felt like it was missing to bridge the taste of the brisket and the rest of the contents of the dish. We also got the fried chicken and doughnut. The maple doughnut was good, but the fried chicken was kind of dry and bland. Another stark difference in flavors not quite complementing each other. (Like how seasalt caramel drinks work, maybe there's a balance of sweetness and savory that is needed? Overall, the bill came out to about $100+ for the above described items, and it was a very heavy okay meal.
I've eaten here twice and both times the service was disinterested at best. I tried the mushroom fries and felt sick afterwards. Tried the famous make bacon donuts and they were surprisingly good. Not sure if that's enough of a draw to try this for a third time. It's too expensive to be treated like you really don't matter to the business.
