Flamingo Deck - San Diego

I went to this restaurant for happy hour on a weekday during the off-season and it was not very crowded, but the specials were amazing! Our server was very friendly and attentive, I would definitely come back for happy hour again!

Drinks were good but couldn't get any service to save my life. Just literally standing at the bar while the staff talk to each other.Music is incredibly loud. Usually not one to complain but if you're going to advertise brunch try to understand we don't need to feel like we're at the night club...Staff is taking shots, talking about nonsense like tattoos and holding their drinks while hardly attending to customers.

The server was fantastic. The food was scrumptious and surprisingly so, given that this place appeared to be just a bar with a few tables outside on a bustling street by the beach. It turned out to be a wonderful dining experience. The chef is talented and the server was well-informed and very pleasant. Definitely a 5-star dinner.

DO NOT EAT HERE. Service is absolutely terrible. The staff here is beyond disrespectful and rude. The host asked for my ID before saying anything when I walked in, It’s a restaurant….there is kids sitting in there. Having him ID me like it was a club and he didn’t even ask If i was planning on drinking. The waitress as well took over 10min to give us water. she never even greeted us and just walked away to greet the table next to us with their water. She took another 15 min to come back and ask what we would like to eat, and I replied asking for more time. I left. The food here is overpriced and looks unappetizing. Don’t waste your money here. Just a restaurant by the beach that thinks they can get away with anything because they have a good location.

Flamingo Deck is a hidden treasure that absolutely deserves a five-star rating. This picturesque venue has beautiful decor and serves delightful drinks that will have you coming back for more. Whether you're marking a special occasion like a birthday or bachelorette party, Flamingo Deck is a definite must-visit.
