Perfidia - San Cristóbal de las Casas

We found this restaurant accidentially. A man was eating at one of their outdoor tables and his food looked so good...we went inside. Two women backpackers were there with their guide books and they found the restaurant in one of their guide books. While Perfidia is mainly known as a after 10PM place to go for good live music and dancing...they also serve food all day and it is a bargain. I had a rice dish that could have fed 2 1/2 people and it was only 55 pesos. My wife had a pasta dish for about the same price and she says it was very good and again could have fed 2 1/2 people. It was a shame to send back to the kitchen that much good food to be thrown away. We also each had a margarita on the rocks...and here the value was not as great as they were fairly small. However this is a BARGAIN FIND go for cheap, but good eats.

Encontramos este restaurante accidentalmente. Un hombre estaba comiendo en una de sus mesas al aire libre y su comida se veía tan buena...decidimos entrar. Dos mujeres mochileras estaban allí con sus guías de viaje y encontraron el restaurante en uno de sus libros de guía. Aunque Perfidia es principalmente conocido como un lugar para ir después de las 10PM para buena música en vivo y baile...también sirven comida todo el día y es una ganga. Pedí un plato de arroz que podría haber alimentado a 2 1/2 personas y solo costó 55 pesos. Mi esposa tenía un plato de pasta por un precio similar y dice que está muy bueno y también podría haber alimentado a 2 1/2 personas. Fue una lástima devolver a la cocina tanta comida buena para ser desperdiciada. También cada uno tuvimos una margarita en las rocas...y aquí el valor no era tan grande - ya que eran bastante pequeñas. Sin embargo - esto es un HALLAZGO DE GANGA - ve por comida barata, pero buena.
