Cafe Central

We were so glad to come upon this lovely resaturant/cafe with a unique array of dishes on offer. It was one of the first places that my husband and I have found that also had some wonderful things on offer for two for vegetarians. The service was impeccable and the presentation of the dish dishes, very artistic. Pleasing to the eye and in the tummy!

A small family run cafe/bar in the centre of the town. The young woman behind the counter worked very hard to understand what we wanted. The food when it arrived was good and excellent value for money.

This modern cafe bar is conveniently located near the Church and ex-convent of Santo Domingo de Guzman (on tourist map number 2). This cafe was all I could hope for that moment: It was obvious that it would rain very soon, I was hungry and needed shelter. The young lady was wonderful and even though we had not a mutual language, both of us knew enough words in English Spanish and I was able to choose from a daily menu with option of 2 starters and 2 main dishes. With bread, water, fruit dessert and coffee this all was only 7 EUR. The good will, consideration and appreciation of client was heart warming, the pasta dish (penne pasta with mutton) was tasty, so were the eggs with local ham). Thank you so much, this was a most delightful lunch and I wish that many of TA readers find this place also and can enjoy of the same hospitality as I had.

El sitio es histórico, muy acogedor, almorzamos dentro, en el salón, almuerzo con platos variados, entrantes, carnes y pescados, muy buenos y bien elaborados.

Magnífico! Unas croquetas excelentes, una carne con verduras exquisita, un servicio muy atento y un entorno agradabilísimo!
