Divinvino - SAN CATALDO

Delightful restaurant up a side street in San Cataldo. Very much off the tourist trail in Sicily, but if you find yourself in these parts (we were staying in nearby Caltanissetta) then this is a must do stop. We ate here twice during our stay on our first and last nights in the area and had excellent food both nights. The menu is broken down to antipasti, pasta course, main course (fish course options available in season) and deserts. The pasta dishes are varied and interesting (carbonara, ragu etc), while the Stingo (pork shin) and muscles were to die for. Owner/chef Paulo and his partner Mariella were charming hosts and although they spoke limited English (we speak no Italian), we managed to get by. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Ristorante carino, tranquillo e con piatti gustosi e ricchi. Ho ordinato piatti a base di pesce: di ottima qualità, belli esteticamente, curata la presentazione. Il prezzo è adeguato alla qualità del cibo. Servizio professionale e veloce.

Eccellente qualità dei prodotti tipici come trippa, lumache, entrecote e stinco. Prezzi onesti.

La selezione di vini e pietanze preparate con attenzione è ottima. Il locale sobrio si trova vicino al centro. Durante la cena si può ascoltare buona musica. La proprietaria è molto gentile e competente.

Esperienza ottima. La pasta che utilizzano è quella del molino Ferrara a San Cataldo e tra i vini proposti c'è anche quello di Lombardo. È un ottimo modo di esaltare i prodotti autoctoni.
