La Playa - SAN CARLOS

Fresh seafood with beautiful presentation. Salsa was boring until we asked for something with a little more spice. The waiter made us a new, zippy version that was delicious. My wife had the grilled whole fish and said it was cooked well, but needed some more spice/flavor. I'm wondering if they aren't toning the levels down for the gringos. I had the Combinacion Mexicana and was happy with it. The relleno was fresh and not heavy like they do in the States. Fluffy egg based (not wheat) batter with a nice poblano chili. The prices were reasonable and the staff very frindly and accomodating. We would go back.
