Seiya Japanese Cuisine - San Carlos

Conveniently located in downtown San Carlos. The decor is really beautiful on the inside. The food is very hit or miss for me. The tacos would have been a lot better with about 1/4 the amount of salsa on top. The grilled scallops were so overcooked. The risotto is really a standout. It is so savory and delicious. I would be back for that but not the rest. Food: 3

Overall good food and good place for casual sushi. The food tends to just come out when it's ready, rather than everyone's meal at the same time.

Made a reservation, got seated easily, server was attentive but not overbearing, food was very good. i felt it was a very good value since i thought it was a much fancier place than it turned out to be.
