Bartina 64 - San Carlos

Great live music and Happy hour on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm. Lovely crowd, great service and good prices. No vegan nor vegetarian options available, but if you ask the waiter they can give you a good salad with pasta.

Tried the cheese burger and will be back to try more. Nice layout on 2nd floor, with 3 separate areas. One under the stars, another with huge opening to the ocean, and another huge indoor area, all tastefully done. Staff are always close by ready to assist when ever needed. Kept the drinks and food coming. Big screen T.V. 's,live music, or just good old rock and roll, depending on the night your there. 5:00 till 8:00 happy hour. 2 for 1 drinks.

I went here on a Saturday night. This has to be hottest (and probably the only) club in San Carlos. The $100 MXN cover was reasonable. The DJ and the service were excellent. The smells by the bar were rather atrocious, but not totally unbearable. They either need to do a deep clean on an off-day or else do a better job of cleaning up the floors as the night progresses. The place was packed, but not so packed you couldn't move. I'm not sure if this is because the bouncers were effectively managing the occupancy or if it just an off night because of the season (a cold February night). One thing they could probably do a better job of is controlling the age of the customers. Yes, creepy old guy who was hitting on everyone of all ages from both genders. I'm talking about you.

Amazing town , just has more than one amazing restaurant/bar. Coming up first as you enter San Carlos, La Bartina 64 sits up on the second floor, looks fancy because it's a night club also but, you will find you are very welcome anytime of day, come as you are within reason. Great specials and full great menu . I can't emphasize enough to just get acquainted with this place. We sit at their very large bar and enjoyed the upper level view. Good house music, live music. Honestly, it's family friendly. Come enjoy

Order the coconut margarita with Don Julio Reposado. Or better yet, get there during happy hour and they'll bring you two. Also get the Lobina Scallops and Shrimp Tostada. It's some of the best fresh fish I've had. It's not actually scallops, but fresh fish, but eat it anyway. You won't be disappointed. The service is San Carlos Outstanding. That's my new term for service beyond compare.
