Ricopan Latinpastries - San Bruno

Came by on a cold dreary Sunday morning what better way to cheer up than sugar topped carbs?? The conchas here are so good. Crumbly/crisp topping in a beautiful classic pattern, and super soft tender bread on the inside. They're wonderfully light and go down a bit too fast haha. I could easily inhale 2 3 with a cup of coffee. Also got a cinnamon cuernito (generous amount of cinnamon sugar outside and rolled into it) and a Lunas pastry. Both were much more dense and a bit crumbly I also tried their flan, which was a generous cup portion for 2 bucks and change. It's a gelatin heavy sort of flan, rather than egg yolk heavy, so it's lighter and more like gelatin than custard. Will def come by next time for a ton of the conchas, and to try out more pastries!

Went here on a Saturday morning to get some pastries for breakfast. My friend and I got an apple pie and lunas. Both were delicious. The apple pie was full of delicious, lightly sweetened apple filling. The lunas was on the sweeter end with a sugary, crisp crust-like surface. Highly recommend. The store itself is reminiscent of a late-night donut shop. When you enter, there's a self-serve coffee station with several carafes of coffee and disposable cups for you to pour yourself. They also had a sign for specialty coffee drinks, such as mochas, espresso beverages, etc, but we did not order any ourselves. There's also in-door seating available. Definitely recommend that you check this place out if you're in the area, although parking might be limited as it's largely street parking.

Wonderful pastries, I would heartily recommend. Be aware, the lady who was working the counter did not speak English.

I loved the place and the vibe there. But, the bread is baked at 5am, and there is no way to heat your bread to eat it warm. I wish they had a toaster or something to serve the bread warm. Other than that, the flavor is really good ??

I purchased several of these baked goods without knowing much about them, and I found them all to be absolutely delicious!
