Gran Caffe Sciarra

We often arrived at Gran Café during our holiday, and the first time everything was super; Three non-alcoholic cocktails with snacks and chips. Super terrace. But the visits that followed, we noticed that more and more pigeons came to the terrace and then walked between the chairs as a result of the maintenance.Do not misunderstand me: this is not just the fault of the waiters who do not always clean up the rests on time (which is also difficult if the entire terrace is full), but also the customers themselves: when people drop pieces of their food on the ground and don't pick up, it is normal for pigeons to go to that place and look for food.

Since my friends and I are always looking for good coffee we were told by some local friends that this was the place to go in S. Benedetto. And they were right. Coffee was very good, sweets were great and staff (half of them are family) were extremely friendly. Couldn't wish for better place to visit twice a day during our stay in S. Benedetto and Grottammare.

With over 150 yrs of history to stand by, this place must have done something right to live so long. Amazing Italian food and gelatos make this place a must visit. Easily the best restaurant to visit in the main street of the town.
