Bidrage med feedbackAs a dim tourist, I fancied paella one of the nights of my trip. I enjoy this dish and we’re in Spain…sort of? To be fair, our very friendly waiter explained that paella is not a popular dish in the Canaries, you’ll get it 100 times better in Valencia, but pay a lot more. In other words, this ain’t perfect paella….but I did like his honesty and was happy to try it. The dish was ok, overly seasoned and much heavier on the garlic than it should be, but I got jokingly scolded for not using the lemon, which may have broke this up a bit. Fish soup was lovely to start with, and the shellfish were fresh and plump in both courses. We would probably return based on the waiter’s honesty.
Well we had a drink over from this place so I decided on a meal here later as the staff seemed very nice. Anyway my prawn cocktail was more of a fruit cocktail with added prawns. Steak cooked well but loads of fat, few chips no salad just one tomato grilled pepper. Overall good service but very overpriced meal. Wouldn't return.
I was surprised with the quality. the grilled fish mixed plate was delicious and good quantity and variety. the food was really tasty. great quality and value for money. service was fast.
On arrival, do not be fooled by the look of menu and surroundings. Staff very friendly and discussed specials of the day. We had prawn and garlic ...we shared this dish, it was amazing followed by fish of the day. It was cooked perfectly and served with Canarian potoatos. We will definitely recommend this restaurant.
We have eaten here many times and the food has always been excellent. However on our most recent visit last meal of our holiday we had a terrible experience. Food was dreadful, staff are usually great but on this evening both men were surly and rude! Such a shame. I will check who is working next time around.
