Whataburger - San Antonio

AVOID THIS PLACE! This Whataburger branch is likely one of the worst in San Antonio. The food was colder than the drinks, and the buns were soggy. We didn't get the cookies that were supposed to come with the kids' meal, and one of the drinks was missing altogether. The drive-thru is incredibly slow, and the staff seems clueless about what's happening. This location is poorly managed and not well run. Again, steer clear unless you enjoy being disappointed.

I just had a meal at this restaurant and unfortunately, it was overshadowed by an incident. An employee accidentally spilled a ketchup packet all over my jeans and slides, but didn’t acknowledge it at all and just kept walking. Since it was busy, I waited a bit before approaching someone to ask for a wipe for my jeans and explained what happened. The employee simply rolled her eyes and handed me a wipe without saying much. The only person who communicated positively was the young man who brought out our food; he informed me that I could only have three packets of ketchup because we only ordered three meals.

The staff at this restaurant is fantastic and really knows how to keep things running smoothly! However, I had a disappointing experience with the manager on duty today, October 22nd, at 11:33 AM. He was incredibly disrespectful to his team and was micromanaging the most trivial matters during the brief time I spent in the lobby. If this continues, the restaurant is likely to lose some valuable employees due to his poor management skills. I hope the staff can withstand it! Good luck to them.

Made order through app and this is the second time I?m asked to move forward after getting to the window. Mind you I was already waiting 10 min past the time it said it?d be ready and I know I ordered before the three people in front of me but they stillasked me to pull forward. I didn?t move and asked why because my order should be ready. When they went to check I could see thembagging the order cuz they were in the wrong. Someone needs to be teaching these people what curbside means or if you orderahead.

Went during lunch time, took about 5 minutes to answer the order taking speaker. Finally ordered a meal. Didn?t get a straw with my drink and also didn?t offer any ketchup with my large fries. The spicy chicken sandwich wasn?t so bad.
