Thai Lao Orchid - San Antonio

Wow, wow! The food at this restaurant is outstanding. I have been there twice and everything I tried was delicious. The pad thai was the best I have ever had. The service is incredibly friendly and amazing. I was surprised that they didn't have at least a 4.8-star rating. Sometimes you shouldn't always trust Google reviews.

This restaurant is a no-frills establishment that serves some of the most authentic Thai food I have had in a while. I discovered it across the street from my hotel and ended up eating there for two meals. The Lao style Papaya salad was bursting with flavor, and the pad see ew had a wok-cooked taste that I could never replicate at home. The crispy spring rolls were served with all the traditional accents, making them essentially authentic. The red curry noodle bowl was incredibly delicious. I will definitely be returning every time I am in town.

Atmosphere is relaxing , food is great. The staff catered to our every request. Will definitely come back at our next visit
