Saltgrass Steak House - San Antonio

Had 17 ounces. T bone steak medium rare and everything came perfect!! I had not had a rare steak in a year, and it was totally worth every penny! The service was also a great wish that I could remember our waiter name..

This meal was a real surprise for me. I haven't eaten in a Saltgrass steakhouse in about 10 years and I wasn't super impressed by the experience I had in Round Rock when I went so that my expectations were pretty low. Not only the food great, but the service and the overall experience were excellent. No one in our party had drinks, so can't comment on it, but we had a queso appetizer that was surprisingly good. The wavy chips were kind of cool and the taste of the Queso was really good. We all ordered the same meal that was a fillet and shrimp combo. The steaks were excellent and the shrimps were well prepared and presented. I had green beans and potatoes as a side. The potatoes were just a bit dry, but the green beans were super tasteful. I'd be happy to go to Saltgrass in the future.

Great service, initially waiting to get on average 45 minutes to an hour. That's phenomenal. High recommend the Range Rattlesnake. Steak and Ribs were mouthwater! Let your wait, the top he deserves. No comparison food wise. This is my way to dinner.

It was a little dark in the group room thru had us in, had to use my flashlight to read the menu. But overall waitress service was top notch for handling a big group. She remembered all our drinks, food, and at the end she even bagged everybody food at the table. She went totally out her way and beyond. The food was awesome very satisfied. I totally recommend going back.

Ambiance- warm, inviting and relaxing Location- Freeway near Cornerstone Church Food- outstanding wedge salad for starter along with a great house salad with homemade thousand island. The house bread is served warm with real butter. They offer a variety of steaks including the hamburger chop steak which is top notch serve with onions and gravy, the ribeye is absolutely fantastic cooked order. I highly recommend the baked sweet potato as it is baked fresh and not microwaved. Service- The service was top-notch for the entire visit. The wait staff is very attentive and providing refills along with fulfilling any special request do you have for your meal Suggestions- ask for a table in the back for a quieter dining experience
