Rita's On The River - San Antonio

I had some of the best food I've ever tasted in San Antonio. My partner and I visited on a Monday afternoon and were seated immediately. The chips and salsa were excellent. I ordered the beef enchilada plate, while my partner chose the taco plate, and both were fantastic. I can’t recall our server’s name, but she was attentive and made sure our drinks were always full. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return!

The menu at Platz is quite limited when it comes to entrees, which makes me think that most patrons come here for drinks by the river and appetizers. I ordered the fajitas, which were fine, but nothing special that would entice me to return for more. Overall, I found the experience to be mediocre. While the location along the river is great for people-watching, that’s about the only highlight.
