Piatti San Antonio

Super friendly staff and really good eating. it was necessary to constantly ask for more water.

Other than I did not find Caymus cabernet sauvignon on tap on their actual wine list (it is on the wine list posted on the website), everything went well. House cabernet sauvignon was quite good.

Everything was cooked perfectly and served professionally like always at Piatti.

We have eaten at Piatti many times and have always enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. This time our experience was different! The service could not have been better. Our server did a great job all evening. The food was a different story. My pasta dish was tasteless and my wife's entre was no better. I will give Piatti the benefit of the doubt and assume that the regular chef was not working the night we were there. Also, I was told that their long time manager has retired. We will go back to Piatti and give the restaurant more chances since it has been one of our favorites for years. I won't let one disappointment keep me away from Piatti. I am sure that next time will be better.

Mari and Jess were amazing start to finish! Truly a wonderful birthday dinner for my mom. And the additional detail to adding “Happy Birthday” to the menu made it all perfect.
