Maria's Pizza - San Antonio

My boyfriend went to get us pizza from this place he found on google. Came back with the biggest smile on his face. The employees were so welcoming to him. This pizza is probably one of the best I’ve had. The cheese is amazing ! Definitely will be eating at this place anytime I’m in the area :

Food was bland. Was really hoping for it to be better based on the reviews, but it wasn’t what I was hoping for.

Best Pie in San Antonio and the Experience with Maria made it all more authentic and I'd definitely recommend eating it fresh ? ?. 10/10 Crisp and Sauce are phenomenal spices and vegetables fresh and delicious. Limited Hours of operation but worth catching the doors open.

I tried the pizza for the first time and was greeted by the owners who were making the pizza from scratch. I felt like I was taken back to a time when restaurant owners took pride in their work and developed individual relationships with their customers.

The pizza was wonderful. I loved the flavor of the sauce, however because it was so good I wish there had been more of it. The pizza is SO cheesy it was decadent. The pepperoni was perfect not too greasy and very flavorful. The dough was good hubby would've preferred it a little thinner but that's a personal preference, I liked it the way it was. The only drawback was that you can't enjoy it there when it's nice and hot, and the restaurant is crowded and kind of sad. It made me want to help them fix it up and make it presentable.
