Lenny's Sub Shop - San Antonio

You guys have surpassed Bruchis now! Two years ago, I would have given you 4 stars. Your Philly cheesesteak is really delicious, and I don't usually enjoy meat that much. I just wish you offered spinach and other vegetables!

This was my first time dining at this restaurant, and I must say the sandwiches are absolutely delicious and definitely worth a visit. If you haven’t been here before, I highly recommend trying one of their sandwiches. I ordered the 7.5-inch roast beef sandwich, while my boyfriend had the Philly cheesesteak. Both were fantastic! The bread was soft and fresh, and the prices were very reasonable. I will certainly be back!

The sandwich was mediocre, but the restaurant was clean and the service was excellent.

Second time coming here, the first was with my brother and I had the A1 Philly, it was delicious along with my current meal the Garden Veggie!

We visited this establishment while visiting our son at FSH because our son decided he wanted a meatball sub. He got mom(me) wanting one too, so I did a google search and Lenny's was one of the first places listed. We could have gone with Subway, but I am not fond of their meatball subs. I'm so glad we decided on Lenny's! Their meatball subs are some of the best I've had in a long time! And I'm from NY, where Italian food is heads and tails above the rest. The bread is a perfect combination of soft but crusty, and they do not hold back on the cheese! The meatballs are a good size and not the bite size versions you get out of the freezer section in the grocery store. And they didn't cover the entire sandwich in sauce where it would fall apart while eating. I wish I had gotten a picture of our sandwiches but I was entirely too hungry to think about a review before eating it. I will absolutely be back for another sub next visit!
