Indy Coffee Co - San Antonio

I’m the kind of guy who from time to time stops off for coffee at a convenience store. What’s the difference right? It turns out to be a big one in taste and experience. With convenience store coffee, you serve yourself and it’s kind of a hurried experience going through the counter line while people are paying for gas, buying fountain drinks, coffee and such. That also means a rushed experience with the cashier. Today, I walked in for an easy Sunday morning to have a cup of coffee, a chat with one of the owners and a feast of the eyes with the great vibe this place gives. I don’t often drink coffee but this place can make me a regular patron. I love their original concept interior design. It was already nearly full when I arrived. I can see why the locals love coming here. I do too and would be willing to drive across town to have this experience again and again. Only once have I been to this amazing place, which was this past Friday actually, and I believe I can call this coffee shop my favorite in all of San Antonio. This is coming from someone who traveled over 300 miles from Brownsville Tx with his family to learn from the best shops in town (looking to eventually open a place in our town eventually). . Along the way, was told about this amazing place by some of the other coffee shops, one even nationally recognized in rewards in White Elephant, that they recommend this gem. I see now why! . For a 'hole in the wall ' kind of place, it felt amazingly warm and comfortable, and was made to feel welcomed. . Got to chat with the staff present at the moment, both awesome dudes! Truly! I thank them for just naturally WANTING to be caring above more than what the job called for. . The reading nook section was just amazing and comfortable, truly digging the Edison light bulbs along with the plants dangling overhead. Was enough for my mom to be able to drown out any noise and focus on her book she brought with. . Also in love with the subtle skateboard and old school motorcycle theme. Truly wish I had a bit more money when I went for a beanie. Oh well, haha bit looking forward to having another Green Tea Latte!! Oh man!! Days later and I can still taste it! Amazing stuff. I love this place. I have been going to Indy since they were just a wee little food truck on Huebner and Vance Jackson. Everyone is so down to earth and they know what they are talking about! Don't go anywhere else for a coffee!!

The perfect Espresso!! I absolutely loved the place!!! By far, the best...!!!

They have a great concept of barista work, coffee beans, and the process. We’ve enjoyed both of our experiences there will visiting SA. Get the cereal milk on the weekends!
