Frida Mexican Restaurant Bar

The restaurant was just alright. I had high hopes but in the end, it could have been better. I initially wanted to try the duck flautas, but they were unavailable at 6:30. I was also eager to order the short rib tacos, but our server discouraged me, saying they were not good. Feeling unsure after his recommendation, I ended up choosing the duck instead. It was decent, but a bit too strong for my taste. Overall, the server was too assertive and I left feeling like I didn't get what I originally had in mind.

The food was decent but overpriced. We had high expectations for exceptional Mexican cuisine, but it was not any better than other Mexican restaurants we have tried that are 30% cheaper.

The flavors of the dishes have definitely changed. The prices are too high for the quality of the food. The salsa looked like a dry paste. I ordered the New York steak tacos and the taste was terrible. I informed our waiter, but he seemed rushed to serve the next table. I won't be returning to this restaurant.
