Delligatti’s Sandwich Shop

A friend and I recently dined at this restaurant and we were impressed by the outstanding service and pleasant atmosphere. The owner and woman at the counter were extremely friendly. The brisket grilled cheese was absolutely delicious, and the barbecue sauce was exceptional. Additionally, the banana bread was also fantastic. We definitely plan on returning and highly recommend trying the brisket grilled cheese.

The food is amazing. The daily specials are excellent, and the club sandwich is the best I've had in San Antonio.

I always have a great experience at this restaurant! The island sandwich was particularly tasty, with a unique combination of spam, pineapple, and cheese, grilled to perfection. It's my go-to option for sandwiches when I'm in the area. However, I regret not trying the pot roast special that day, as it looked and smelled amazing!

Visited with 5 friends. Had brisket grilled cheese with Greek salad. The brisket was hard to bite through. When I took a bite the whole piece would come out of the sandwich. Very strong artificial smoke flavor. Greek salad was bland. One friend tried the gnocchi soup which she liked. No one loved their food. Some of the grilled sandwiches were on the burnt side. The girl at the counter was very nice and friendly. The place was slightly smoky inside from the kitchen and very warm. 2 large tables 4 small. Pepsi products. Outside is cute. Wish the food we had tried was better!

Love this place! Cute and casual little lunchtime sandwich shop with a large menu. Our sandwiches came out fresh and hot and super delicious. The atmosphere is quaint and cozy and service was quick and friendly. We’ll definitely return to check out more of the menu.
