China Star Chinese - San Antonio

Highly recommend this place. Been coming for decades now.

Very scetchy looking Chinese restaurant that is dark and feels dirty. The small dining area was half blocked by stacks of boxes and the quiet room was nearly full of patrons silently eating lunch. There's a steady stream of to go orders being called in and picked up. The staff seem kind and attentive, if not just short of being too busy to help. A to go lunch with soup, eggroll, and an entree was only$8 and it's some of the best Chinese food I've ever had in San Antonio.

The lady taking the orders seems to be mad all the time, but it's well worth the experience!!!! 10/10 I highly recommend!!!

Finally, great Chinese food at reasonable prices. Definitely a hole in the wall, but everything came out hot, fresh, and very quickly.

Love it, so good. Can't beat the price. Definitely will be back.
