Chili's Grill - San Antonio

We enjoy visiting this restaurant for lunch, and we've been fortunate to have the same server each time, which makes us very happy. He is attentive and ensures that everyone is satisfied. The food is always served hot during lunch.

The experience began at the check-in counter, where the staff member was somewhat rude. She simply led us to our table, dropped the menus down, and walked away. Our waitress also overlooked our drink refills and silverware. However, the gentleman who delivered our food was friendly and noticed we didn’t have any silverware, bringing some over to us. He definitely salvaged the evening a bit. In the future, if I encounter a moody person at the check-in counter again, I think I’ll reconsider and opt to get my meal elsewhere.

We were greeted by two hostesses who noticed us as we entered, but unfortunately, we had to wait for them to finish their conversation about Justin Bieber before we were acknowledged and seated. Our server accidentally overcharged us for a drink. When I brought it up, he insisted the charge was correct, but I knew it wasn't. I ended up asking the manager to review our bill, and she confirmed the mistake and corrected it—yay! On a positive note, the food was fantastic, and the drinks were really tasty!

All the food was really good except for the queso cheese. I'm not sure what they put in it, but in all honesty, I did not like the taste of it. But the service was really awesome. The busser even offered to take a picture of me and my husband. All in all, it was a great Sunday afternoon at Chili's.

Food was good not the best. But the waiter made it worth it.
