Charleys Cheesesteaks - San Antonio

Had to go in and pick up my curbside order. But other than that the food was great. They put a good amount of steak.

This is the first time my wife and I have eaten here. I ordered a chicken Philly and a Philly cheesesteak combo. When we opened our order we had 2 philly combos so we went back. My wife went inside to tell them they made a mistake. The lady at the counter went and looked our order up on the computer and said no you ordered 2 philly combos. So in order for my wife to eat we had to order a third sandwich. This place is money driven and not service driven. Because she put the order into the computer wrong we had to buy another sandwich where if I went to McDonalds they would just replace it. Make sure you double check your receipts if you do decide to eat here. Although the food was good I will not be back.

I absolutely love this place! The staff is wonderful, especially a lady named Rachel—she's incredibly friendly and kind, always making me feel welcome. She remembers my order and who I am, which is such a nice touch. Even when they're busy, they manage to get orders out quickly without any delays. I'm quite picky and usually hesitant to try new things, but everything here is delicious and bursting with amazing flavors. Plus, the shakes are just fantastic!

My mom found a hair in her food, and they were out of wings, napkins, jalapeños, tea, fries, and ice cream. The only reason I'm giving it a one-star rating is that the sandwich was decent.

The service was outstanding. The staff was friendly, cheerful, and enjoyable to be around. The food was delicious, and I highly recommend the old school dish. I will definitely be returning!
