Great romantic stop for hubby and I during the convention

My experience at Brooklynite began positively. After about an hour, the hostess approached us and asked if we were planning to leave soon as she needed the table for other guests. I was surprised by this request, as I am also a paying customer like everyone else there. I always make reservations at restaurants that accept them, and I had made a reservation for my table. Feeling rushed to leave, I am not inclined to return to Brooklynite.

I absolutely loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The staff was very informed about the drinks they served. I appreciated the fact that our table was ready as soon as we arrived. I will definitely return!

My wife and I decide to visit Brooklynite and some other bars in the area to experience San Antonio nightlife for our reality show. This bar was our number #1 in our list. I personally was totally impressed with the bad service provided from the staff. No one greet to us as soon we walked in. The hostess didn 't greet our welcome us; all she said was please follow me so you can be serve . I want to clarify that the bar was not busy at all and there was more employees behind the bar, playing around and not walking the floor assisting customers. After 20 min of wait time i walked over to the main host and i told the young lady that we 've been waiting for a while and no one have approach to us. I have a message to the bar owner or manager: -Check your employees name badges and servants name on the bill tab. Apparently my servants name on the bill ticket is LAZY WAITER -The bar is very elegant and full of beautiful painting on the walls. But your employees uniforms or dress code doesn 't go along with the bar image. -Limit the amount of people behind the bar. I can 't really tell who 's my bartender and who is my waitress/waiter. -Enforce staff about customer service. I 'm not your friend or family member. I like to be treated with respect and to know you want my business. This is all I have to share with OpenTable. Unfortunately experience will be share to the public and to ours followers.

The atmosphere is fantastic, making it a great spot for a date. The drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. It was a bit loud during my last visit, but I believe that was just a one-time occurrence.
